Petra Juvančič

Since 2020, Petra Juvančič has been the Executive Director of the Managers’ Association of Slovenia that brings together over 1,200 managers of Slovenian companies. She graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana and began her career in the media, where she worked for several years as a journalist and presenter on POP TV, the newspaper Dnevnik and Radio Hit. She continued her career at Pristop agency, where she progressed in the field of strategic management of public relations. After that, she got an opportunity at the then newly founded insurance company Vzajemna, initially as a management consultant, and later for several terms as Director of the Public Relations Department. She was also active in the Slovenian Insurance Association, where she headed the Committee for Consumer Awareness and Communication. As an expert on healthcare systems, she was also active in the American Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia as a member of the Commission on Healthcare and Quality of Living. She is an experienced organizer and leader of professional conferences, round tables and other high-level meetings, and is a renowned columnist in the Slovenian media. In 2018, she received the international ProPR Award.
